The first statement, Trust No One is the way business on the internet has become. We are all captives to trust and the big decision of whether or not to send money or information to other people. Crypto-currencies have not solved the problem, but they have added some new layers to what is "Trust" and how to overcome the issues relating to trust and doing business or exchanging resources.

I bring this up because these coins, Iotains, are not full-proof and are not in any way 100% secure. Because simply I will have to make them and therefore I will need to handle the Seed that is related to each coin. I may find ways to deal with that, but for the short term these coins are for fun and the small denominations that I am working with are to suggest that. Just the fact that these are on coins as the physical object should emphasize this point. These are not objects for storing or transfering large amounts of iota and should be used for fun and promotional use only, just like a token at Chucky Cheese.

That being said, there are some underlying aspects to the Iotains that are special and worthy of discussion. The fact that I have come up with some unique printing techniques that mimi the foundry process in an inexpensive way is one. The idea that individual coins can be made with Iota technology that will all each coin to stand on its own. The visual effect of explaining iota and the seed concept with a real coin is great. I love reaching in my pocket and at the convenience store and jingling my coins and saying, "Do you take Iota?", just to see a confused by inquiring look on the clerk's face. It's worth it. The coincidental background concept modeled on Hobo Nickels is one of my favorite back-story to the Iotians. Anyway, I can't wait to develop and print more of these and will explain more as I go.

Underlying this is the fact that for the value of a coin you can Trust Everyone.
