There are a couple of other brands that fill out this market niche like Jerzee and Fruit of the Loom. Cheap shirts are $2 and below for white and usually $1 more for color. The average wieght is approx 5-6 oz. cotton and the thread count is typically 18-24/1 open-ended cotton, so they aren't as soft as the more expensive shirts.
