RISE ABOVE - Free Hurricane Katrina T-shirts & New Orleans Flood T-shirts for the survivors of the flood damaged SouthSince the only thing we have to offer to the world from Y-Que is t-shirts, we hereby offer our services, to help the people of the Mississipi/New Orleans area get a smile back on their faces. We pledge to send 1-free t-shirt to the ravaged area for every pre-printed t-shirt we sell on this website of any design, starting September 1st, (for accounting purposes), until New Orleans is dry again. Now, don't go confusing us with the millions of do-gooders out there, however, sometimes you've just got to just feel lucky to be alive and do what you can to recognize the dramatic impact that this type of disaster brings to a region by doing what you can, even if it is a simple gesture of support. Hopefully a few people can use some dry tee shirts as they start to clear away the mud and get their lives back together.
We're not sure what we are going to print on these shirts yet, but you can make a suggestion at our T-shirt Contest located at: T-shirts.org/forum. We've got the "I survived" and the "The Big One" type of thing down, so if you have any interesting suggestions of what to print on the free Hurricane Katrina / New Orleans Flood concept please let us know. The shirts will be delivered to an appropriate organization for distribution after things have settled down out there.
